PROPERTY OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Summary
Direct the planning, operation, and management of the Property Operations Department, overseeing maintenance projects, staff supervision, and inventory controls for facilities including the Waste Water Treatment Plant and Water Tower. Review production reports to modify activities, manage payroll processes, and enforce safety regulations while performing Shift Manager responsibilities for adequate coverage. Handle approvals for work orders, inspect operating equipment, and assist with new construction and renovation projects under the direction of the Director of Facilities. Maintain files of work orders and manuals, provide weekly reports, and ensure conformance with operational standards, OSHA regulations, and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board guidelines. Flexible to work any scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of Property Operations/Facilities management experience
- Two to three years of Property Operations/Facilities management experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints, floor plans and schematics
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical building systems
- Knowledge of construction codes and life safety systems
- Proficient computer/PC skills, including Microsoft Office
- Valid Pennsylvania Gaming License, if necessary
- Ability to stand, walk and move through all property areas
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, stoop or kneel for long periods
- Physical stamina and proper mental state of mind to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment and engage in lifting up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Ability to handle exposure to areas where smoking is permitted
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Oral and aural acuity and ability to respond to cues
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Gaming License, if necessary
- Must be able to perform each of the essential functions and responsibilities satisfactorily
- Must be a minimum 18 years of age or older upon employment
- Must be able to stand, walk and move through all property areas
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, stoop or kneel for long periods
- Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental state of mind to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and effectively deal with guests, management, employees and members of the business community
- Must have adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment and engage in lifting up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Must be able to handle exposure to areas where smoking is permitted
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
