Job Summary
Collect rent, process invoices, and schedule expenditures to accomplish financial objectives while evaluating rental rates and preparing annual budgets. Maintain office and resident files in accordance with state and federal guidelines, then inspect the property daily to ensure building systems and grounds are properly maintained. Hire, train, and supervise staff by conducting performance appraisals, approving time sheets, and addressing employee relations issues. Resolve tenant complaints by investigating occupancy rules and enforce leases while managing social networking websites to market the property. Submit required reports to the management agent or government bodies and work directly with the Regional Housing Manager to obtain contracts and assure quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Low-Income Housing Tax Credit experience
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- At least 3 years of property management experience
- Fair Housing Certificate and awareness of fair housing laws
- Knowledgeable in all local laws pertaining to fair housing
- Be familiar with the HUD 4350.03 Guide
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification preferred (CMH, ARM, CAM, RAM)
- Experience working with disabled residents preferred
