Job Summary
Represent Transwestern professionally while adhering to management agreement terms and ensuring compliance with policies, codes, and regulations. Lead property staff through hiring and performance management, and develop annual inspection processes for weekly through annual asset reviews. Manage operating and capital budgets, track variances, oversee CAM reconciliations, and handle vendor contract negotiations. Coordinate tenant and construction work, maintain interfaces with third-party owners and accounting teams for accurate reporting, and participate in leasing meetings to align with client objectives. Foster positive relationships with tenants and external clients while communicating authority based on legal agreements and TW policies. Coordinate team training and development activities as assigned by Senior Leadership. This on-site role in Houston, TX requires a State Real Estate license, 6+ years of commercial property management experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- State Real Estate license
- CPM and/or RPA designations or in progress
- A minimum 6 years of property management experience, preferably in commercial management
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, and Excel proficiencies
- Strong understanding of financial reports, including variance of actual vs. budget numbers
- Ability to keep information strictly confidential
- Strong desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to handle multiple projects, changing priorities and a continually heavy workload
- Strong customer service orientation
