Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of Tussing Place Apartments by directing leasing and maintenance teams to drive occupancy and maintain community standards. Manage the approved annual operating budget, perform market surveys for competitive pricing, and coordinate vendor work and capital improvements. Prepare periodic financial reports for leadership, process rent collections and invoices, and manage operational data in Yardi. Coach and train on-site employees, approve schedules, and ensure adherence to operational policies while handling special projects as needed. Requires weekend and evening availability.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- three plus years of property management experience
- one plus years of supervisory experience in a large-scale, residential apartment community
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- positive, friendly and professional attitude with a strong focus on customer service
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated management and leadership abilities
- Proficient with residential property management technology programs such as Yardi or MRI and Microsoft Office products, including Excel
- General knowledge and understanding of accounting principles with an ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Proven ability to form relationships with internal business partners and external partners
- ability to lift and move materials or equipment up to 10 pounds
- Weekend work
