Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations for two affordable housing properties in Chaska, MN, managing 150+ units. Supervise on-site staff, prepare and manage budgets, and monitor financial performance including rent collection and occupancy rates. Address tenant concerns, maintain positive relationships, and oversee maintenance, vendor contracts, and leasing efforts. Conduct regular site visits to assess conditions and prepare performance reports. Ensure full compliance with fair housing, local, state, and federal laws. Requires 3 years' experience in property management with affordable housing expertise. Schedule is Monday through Friday daytime hours.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in property management
- experience with affordable housing (tax credit and section 8/42)
- 2 years' experience in residential property management
- income restricted/section 8/42 experience
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs
- Knowledge of government subsidy programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel
- valid driver's license

- reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- experience with multiple properties
- Strong computer literacy skills including experience with Yardi, Fortress or other property management software
