Job Summary
On-site Property Manager for an affordable multifamily community in Colorado Springs. Oversee day-to-day operations including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, budgeting, financial reporting, and occupancy goals. Implement property management procedures, ensure compliance with local/state/federal affordable housing regulations (LIHTC and Fair Housing), coordinate maintenance, prepare reports for owners and senior management, and lead a team of leasing and maintenance professionals. Collaborate with in-house compliance to ensure accurate and timely applications, recertifications, and annual reports. Focus on marketing strategies to attract tenants and maintain high resident satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of multifamily property management experience
- Minimum of 3 years of LIHTC experience
- Proven track record of managing teams
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and regulations
- Strong knowledge of property management and financial reporting software (RealPage OneSite)
- Strong knowledge of leasing process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Certification in property management (e.g., CAM, CPM) is a plus
