Job Summary
Property Manager for a 44-unit low-income housing property in Boston, responsible for developing and implementing policies affecting resident well-being, property operation, compliance, and community relations. Oversees on-site staff and contractors, marketing and occupancy management (including waitlists and move-ins), preventive and emergency maintenance coordination, contract management and bidding, subsidy vouchers and financial reporting, and coordination with regulatory agencies and ownership entity. Requires college degree (or three years’ experience managing 40+ units) and at least one year of managerial/marketing experience, plus familiarity with HUD regulations; strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills; ability to interact with diverse residents and liaise with regulatory bodies. On-site role with responsibility for occupancy, maintenance, financial administration, staffing, and resident services, with on-call availability for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or Minimum of three consecutive years' experience as property manager managing 40+ units.
- Minimum of one year managerial and /or marketing experience (preferably in rental housing).
- Familiarity with HUD (if applicable) regulations, and ability to understand their complexity and put into practice.
