Job Summary
Manage operations and maintenance for up to six retail shopping center properties in the Denver Area, overseeing fiscal management including A/R, A/P, budgeted capital improvements, and financial reporting. Direct physical performance through inspections, vendor selection, and construction project oversight while maintaining strong tenant and vendor relations. Handle daily functions such as rent collection, invoice coding, contract creation, and utility management to ensure portfolio efficiency. Collaborate with senior management on budget presentations and identify ancillary income opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related field
- 7+ years of experience
- At least three (3) years of operational experience within the real estate industry
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Qualitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn and use new programs
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, retail leasing industry and contract terminology
- Ability to travel around the region to visit properties
- Real Estate license
- Pre-employment drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate, commercial property management, and/or accounting
- Experience managing commercial properties, specifically in the retail sector and/or with mixed use properties that include a retail component
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards or other accounting software
- Experience working in event planning or marketing
- Member of ICSC and regularly attends local events
- Previous experience in construction or architectural services
