Job Summary
Property Manager in Kokomo, IN, responsible for implementing marketing and leasing strategies, touring units with prospective tenants, tracking leasing prospects, preparing resident leases, coordinating move-ins/move-outs, coordinating Section 8 voucher payments with housing authorities, initiating lease renewals, coordinating work orders with maintenance, ensuring timely bank deposits and accurate records on property management software, and generating weekly leasing/occupancy/delinquency reports. Requires experience with Section 42 programs, at least 3 years in property management, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities also include eviction proceedings when necessary, representation in eviction court, and ensuring units are ready for inspections. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years property management experience
- Experience with Section 42 programs required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Strong computer and organization skills
- Strong customer service and verbal and written communication skills
