Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of a residential or multifamily property, lead on-site staff (leasing, maintenance, concierge, and administrative), manage resident relations, and administer budgets to maximize asset value. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies, supervise vendor contracts, coordinate capital improvements and occupancy initiatives, conduct regular property inspections, and prepare operational and financial reports for ownership and senior leadership. Foster positive relationships with residents, ownership groups, and community stakeholders; maintain high service standards and occupancy goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of property management experience in residential or multifamily housing
- Experience managing property budgets, financial reporting, and operating expenses
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and residential property management best practices
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, Entrata, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours to support property operations and resident needs
