Job Summary
Property Manager at Mercy Housing leads site staff, directs building operations, and manages customer service, resident relations, property budgeting and rent collections. Responsible for leasing, compliance with housing programs, and prioritizing maintenance in alignment with budget goals. Requires management experience, financial accountability, and knowledge of housing regulations; bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord and Tenant laws
- Experience being accountable for financials
- Previous housing or property management experience including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification in property or affordable housing management
- Minimum two (2) years of administrative, accounting, customer service, and/or supervisory experience
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
