Job Summary
Lead a team of property managers by coaching, mentoring, and training staff while selecting and hiring new personnel. Balance strategic business development with resident relations, overseeing leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, and building maintenance. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and manage budgets to optimize income and expenses. Utilize property management and accounting software, including OneSite and Ops Technology, to drive operational efficiency. Occasional travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience as a residential property manager
- Prior supervisory experience: selection and hiring, team training and coaching, budget processing
- Working knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes: Fair Housing laws and regulations, building and grounds maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, accounting principles, property safety, and use of property management and accounting software
- A strong understanding of bottom-line and comprehension of balancing income and expenses to ensure the best overall results
- Occasional travel
