Job Summary

Oversee all day-to-day operations for a multifamily community, including leasing, resident relations, work orders, vendor coordination, and financial reporting. Lead and support on-site leasing and maintenance teams through hiring, training, scheduling, and culture building. Drive financial performance by managing budgets, controlling expenses, maximizing revenue, and ensuring rent collection. Serve as the primary contact for residents to resolve concerns and welcome new tenants while conducting regular property inspections and overseeing maintenance standards. Submit accurate financial reports, manage payroll, and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Engage with the local apartment association, monitor competitors, and promote the property to attract new residents and renew leases.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of multifamily property management experience
  • 2+ years leading a team
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience managing large multifamily real estate properties
  • A minimum of 4 years of residential property management experience
  • A proven track record in leasing or sales
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising two or more employees
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products in an office environment
  • Familiarity with general business and accounting concepts and practices
  • Ability to read, understand, and develop financial statements
  • High-school graduate-level mathematical proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must work on the busiest days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and at least one Sunday a month) and on Holidays, during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly
  • Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, climbing stairs to perform functions in various weather conditions and variable climates
