Job Summary
The Property Manager will oversee the overall operation of an assigned property, including administration, maintenance, leasing, staff leadership, and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, managing daily workflow, conducting performance evaluations, handling discipline, and ensuring occupancy and budget targets are met. Financial management, property maintenance oversight, contract and regulatory compliance management, and sales/marketing to maximize occupancy are required. Lease administration, timely rent collection, tenant application and lease review, resident relations, policy adherence, and reporting of policy violations are part of the role. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, time management, and leadership abilities; a Virginia Real Estate Salesperson license is preferred to be obtained within one year, along with a High School Diploma or equivalent and knowledge of Microsoft Office and OneSite.
