Job Summary
Property Manager responsible for day-to-day operations of a residential community, including budgeting, marketing, leasing, collections, vendor management, and resident relations. Supervises on-site staff, prepares owner/earnings reports, inspects property quality, coordinates improvements, manages maintenance programs, negotiates leases/renewals, monitors delinquency, ensures compliance with housing laws, and executes marketing strategies to maintain occupancy. Requires associate degree or equivalent, 2-3 years related property-management experience, CAM preferred, and strong budgeting, reporting, and communication skills. Proficient with MS Office and property-management software; able to manage financials, vendor relationships, and resident services with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 2-3 years related experience in property management, leasing, or hospitality or customer service industry
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) credential preferred
- Familiarity with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws concerning multi-family housing and Fair Housing
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management
- Experience using property management software (e.g., RealPage OneSite) and Microsoft Office
