Job Summary
Property Manager responsible for the overall management, maintenance, operations, admissions, and profitability of one or more multifamily communities. Oversees budgeting, reporting on fiscal and occupancy status, and ensures adherence to agency policies while mentoring teams, coordinating hiring/training, marketing and outreach to maximize occupancy, rent collections, and regulatory compliance. Leads on-site staff, coordinates safety and compliance with LIHTC/RAD and HUD guidelines, manages tenant eligibility, income verification, lease administration, move-ins/outs, and prepares operational and financial reports; engages with police and community stakeholders as needed; drives resident services, resident retention, and unit turnover reduction while maintaining professional standards and budgeting discipline.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years on-site experience as a property manager
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a customer service-related business with appropriate certification(s) will be considered
- Recognized designation in Property Management preferred
- Must obtain tax credit certification within twelve (12) months of hire
- Accredited Residential Manager
- Enterprise Income Verification System (EIV)
- Fair Housing
- HCV Rent Calculation
- Certified Credit Compliance Professional (NCP, C3P, or equivalent) if applicable
- CPM Designation strongly preferred
