Job Summary
Lead daily property operations for a 420-unit community, managing leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and vendor coordination. Coach the six-person property team while ensuring strict compliance with HUD and affordable housing requirements. Oversee certifications, resident files, audits, and inspections, and monitor occupancy, rent collections, and work orders. Respond to resident concerns fairly and partner with regional leadership to address performance challenges. This hands-on leadership role supports a collaborative team focused on improving community experiences and creating long-term growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of property management experience
- Experience leading an on-site property team
- Affordable housing experience, including HUD, Section 8, or LIHTC required
- Working knowledge of property financials, budgets, and compliance requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Yardi or a similar property management system is a plus
