Job Summary
Complete administrative tasks for community operations, including preparing lease agreements, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining resident files. Monitor vacant units to maintain occupancy, coordinate move-ins, and issue receipts for rent and penalties while balancing cash and preparing bank deposits. Conduct eligibility determinations for Public Housing and tax credit programs, enforce lease terms and community rules, and address tenant complaints or violations. Prepare legal documents for eviction proceedings and attend file reviews to present the Housing Authority's position in hearings. Perform required NSPIRE housing inspections and deliver notices regarding regulations, policies, and rent changes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years' experience in interviewing applicants, verifying eligibility, performing detailed calculations, and carrying out housing management functions with tax credit or multi-layered funding property management experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work as determined by Human Resources
- Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace compliance
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen
- Completion of criminal background checks
