Job Summary
Manage all property operations for The Aster Sugar Land, including recruiting and supervising on-site staff, conducting regular physical inspections, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and safety regulations. Oversee financial responsibilities by assisting with budget formulation, reviewing monthly statements, collecting rents, and approving expenditures while maintaining vendor relationships. Lead marketing and leasing strategy by developing property plans, training leasing staff, and monitoring market trends to maximize occupancy and property values. Perform administrative duties such as reviewing lease applications, conducting property audits, and reporting incidents through the online system. Weekend work may be required, with occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of five years of multifamily experience
- at least three years as a Property Manager overseeing a 250+ unit conventional community
- Must have background in supervision and a successful track record of accomplishments
- A valid driver's license
- automobile insurance
- Must be able to lift less than 20 lbs
- Occasionally lift over 20 lbs
- Strong constant finger dexterity with ability to grasp/turn
- Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing; ability to comprehend, speak, write and communicate

Desired Qualifications
- Five years of experience in on-site property management preferred
- Three years of experience as a property manager preferred
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Residential Apartment Manager (RAM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification preferred
- Experience with Yardi, CRM platforms, and Yieldstar
- Lease up or new construction experience with proven results preferred for new development properties
