Job Summary
Property Manager responsible for the day-to-day operations and optimum performance of assigned property(ies), including rent collections, processing resident applications, conducting move-ins/outs, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing rules, providing staff training and resources, performing property inspections, handling maintenance requests, and communicating with leadership, housing authorities, and outside clients. Focus on maximizing profits through expense analysis while maintaining high customer service standards; travel up to 50% may be required; requires an Associate’s Degree and an Affordable Housing Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree
- Certifications: Any Affordable Housing Certification
- Preferred Experience: 2+ years of housing experience
- Physical Abilities: exposure to elements, lift/push/bend, ability to walk across various surfaces
- Interpersonal Abilities: Leadership, teamwork, integrity, communication, critical thinking
- Special Requirements: travel up to 50%, Valid Driver’s License
