Property Manager

Property Manager responsible for day-to-day operations at the Maywood at Speedway property, leading on-site team members, monitoring performance against budgets, auditing leases and resident files, managing renewals and marketing channels, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with housing regulations. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, budget oversight, inspections, vendor and resident relations, and maintaining market-ready conditions, with an emphasis on driving property performance and aligning with Fairlawn’s core values (Be Kind, Own It, Be Flexible, Always Improve). The position requires 5+ years of people-management experience, on-site property oversight, leasing or sales experience (preferred), High School diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred), bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and the ability to obtain an Illinois Residential Agent License within 1 year of employment, along with strong communication and technology skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, AppFolio, Outlook).
