Job Summary
Oversee all on-site operations at the community, leading staff and ensuring financial and compliance standards are met. Manage financial performance by overseeing rents, occupancies, and expenditures while collecting rent and filing evictions for non-payments. Direct onsite staff, schedule vendors and contractors, and supervise resident retention and leasing programs to maintain maximum occupancy. Review applications, background checks, and credit reports for all applicants, processing 50059s while ensuring tenant relations adhere to HUD, USDA, Tax Credit, and FPM requirements. Prepare the site for REAC and Management Occupancy Review inspections.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of property management experience
- Ability to maintain reliable transportation
- Current and valid driver's license
- Vehicle insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Tax Credit, HUD and/or Section 8 housing
- CAM, COS, or TCS certification
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in a professional, courteous, cooperative, tactful, and patient manner with residents, FPM employees, vendors, suppliers, and members of the public
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
