Job Summary
Property Manager - Evergreen Terrace manages day-to-day operations for assigned properties, markets and leases apartments, oversees budgets and compliance for affordable housing, handles resident inquiries and work orders, maintains applicant waitlists, supervises property staff and coordinates with vendors, conducts inspections and certifications for LIHTC/Section 8 programs, leads leasing strategies to maintain occupancy, and ensures property safety and curb appeal while providing exceptional customer service. Requires adapting to varying daily tasks, enforcing Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations, and coordinating move-ins/transfers with compliance teams; on-call for after-hours emergencies and participation in regional trainings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC or Section 8
- Solid understanding of Fair Housing
- Skills in income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn new software
