Job Summary
Manage the physical and fiscal aspects of properties by overseeing lease administration, rent collection, and budget preparation. Coordinate property support staff through regular meetings, supervise maintenance personnel, and conduct facility inspections. Lead teams by interviewing, hiring, training, and appraising employees while resolving internal and external client concerns. Document cost avoidance, consolidate invoices, and generate monthly accounting and CMMS reports to track operational benchmarks. Pursue new business development as needed and maintain vendor relationships to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in commercial, office or medical office (excluding residential, hotel experience) property management
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing non-exempt and/or exempt-level employees
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and produce results
- Proficiency with the on-demand work request and preventative maintenance documentation process
- Experience with preparation of, and adherence to, annual property budgets
- High proficiency in MS applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Some overtime, holiday, or weekends may be required
- Travel is required for this position
- Ability to perform required tasks associated with position including, but not limited to, kneeling, squatting, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, and the ability to pick up or carry up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university
- BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and/or IREM Certified Property Manager (CPM®), or industry leading equivalent designation
- Operational experience is preferred
