Property Manager

Property Manager responsible for leading day-to-day operations, leasing, tenant relations, financial stewardship, and maintenance coordination for 15 tribal housing and property assets. Oversees renting activities, occupancy targets, vendor management, compliance with NAHASDA and tribal/state/federal regulations, and on-site presence 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday with after-hours emergencies. Requires evaluating rental rates, screening applicants, managing lease agreements, rent collection, budgeting, financial reporting, contract negotiation, vendor oversight, and capital improvements, while ensuring safe, well-maintained properties aligned with tribal standards and culture. Skills include strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, attention to detail, financial analysis, policy development, and proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office. Education/experience prerequisites include an associate degree or a high school diploma with 3+ years related experience; additional preferred certifications include CPM/HCCP, HUD/NAHASDA experience; surrounding requirements include background checks, fingerprinting, and a valid driver’s license.
