Job Summary
Property Manager is responsible for the financial and operational success of a Northeast/Mid-Atlantic apartment community, blending customer service with expense controls. Responsibilities include leasing and marketing, pricing strategy, tracking traffic and lease-related documents, resolving resident concerns, ensuring resident retention, preparing annual operating budgets, explaining variances to senior management, coordinating maintenance with in-house staff, and leading a team to deliver superior resident experiences. Requires leadership of at least five staff, experience in capital improvements and unit renovations, and ability to manage budgets and office operations while maintaining accurate records.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of multi-family apartment property management in a leadership role
- Experience managing a staff of at least 5
- Proven leadership in managing capital improvements, unit renovations, and staff development
