Job Summary
Oversee daily property operations including leasing, resident services, maintenance, and administrative functions while leading on-site staff through hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Conduct regular inspections, manage budgets and financial reporting, and lead leasing efforts from tours to move-ins. Build strong resident relationships, resolve issues with independent judgment, and execute marketing strategies to maximize occupancy. Represent CommonPlace professionally across all interactions. Requires three to five years of leadership experience, Fair Housing certification, and availability for five days per week on-site at 1920 Ivy Creek Blvd, Durham, NC.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of property management experience in a leadership role
- Fair Housing knowledge
- Fair Housing Certification
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Financial and business acumen
- Experience managing budgets and reporting
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented
- Organized
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Able to be on-site five days per week
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
