Job Summary
Supervise daily apartment community operations, including general administration, leasing, occupancy, and maintenance to maximize net operating income. Monitor regulatory compliance, coordinate communication between associates and Corporate Office, and complete performance evaluations for supervised staff. Manage vendor contracts, prepare purchase orders within budget, and analyze monthly operating results to generate variance reports. Collect rent, verify payments, and process applications while ensuring adherence to fair housing laws and housing quality standards. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, charge for damages, and coordinate with the Engineering Department on major maintenance issues. Assist with marketing plans, interview prospective residents, and utilize property management software for training and data entry.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Undergraduate Degree in General Studies
- Associate Degree in General Studies
- 3-4 years of required experience in a supervisory role
- 3-4 years of required experience in Property Management
