Job Summary
Oversee all property operations, including maintenance, budgeting, lease administration, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, and audits. Lead and develop a high-performing team of leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel. Drive resident satisfaction, occupancy, revenue, and profitability through exceptional service, competitive analysis, and active marketing. Build strong vendor relationships, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and adapt to growth in a dynamic environment. Maintain strong communication with residents and prospects while upholding fair housing standards and financial performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in residential property management, including staff supervision, financial management, and budget oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant work experience required.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, Rent Café) and credit screening platforms, plus Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in training, developing, and mentoring a high-performing team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to resolve resident concerns professionally and effectively.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills; attention to detail and follow-through.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local fair housing laws; fiduciary responsibility and confidentiality.
