Job Summary
Establish rental rates by surveying local markets and calculating overhead, depreciation, and profit goals. Attract and contract tenants through advertising, referrals, and lease negotiations while collecting security deposits. Manage financial objectives by collecting rents, forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, and analyzing variances. Maintain properties by resolving tenant complaints, inspecting units, planning renovations, and supervising maintenance and landscaping contracts. Secure premises by contracting security patrols, installing devices, enforcing occupancy policies, and responding to emergencies. Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing data trends.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
