Property Manager - Affordable Housing

Job Summary
Maintain the physical, administrative, and financial aspects of affordable housing properties in New York by ensuring audit readiness for MOR and REAC. Manage maintenance and office teams, oversee move-in and move-out processes, and conduct weekly building inspections to ensure compliance with Tax Credit and Section 8 standards. Prepare reports for regulatory agencies, resolve resident complaints, and issue notices for late payments or evictions. Develop tenant orientation programs and establish community partnerships with agencies serving residents. Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Requires 1-2 years of property management experience and knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and NYC local laws. Full-time role with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off benefits. Full vaccination required by October 1, 2021.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of property management experience
- Knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programs (DOB, HPD, ECB)
- Understanding of NYC local laws (11,87,84, etc)
- Must be familiar with requirements of the following agencies: HUD: Section 8, REAC, MOR; HDC; LIHTC, HFA; HCR; HPD
- Experience with SitCompli and Yardi
- Ability work independently with minimal to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
