Property Manager - Affordable Housing

Job Summary
Conduct annual and weekly audits to ensure compliance with Tax Credit and Section 8 standards, including MOR and REAC certifications. Maintain accurate resident records for rents, deposits, and fees while overseeing maintenance teams and managing move-in/out processes. Prepare reports for regulatory agencies, issue notices for late payments or evictions, and establish community partnerships with service providers. Show prospective residents properties and develop tenant orientation programs. Resolve resident complaints and ensure security systems maximize safety. Generate and maintain various logs and purchase orders. Work independently to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of property management experience
- Knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programs (DOB, HPD, ECB)
- Understanding of NYC local laws (11,87,84, etc)
- Must be familiar with requirements of the following agencies: HUD: Section 8, REAC, MOR; HDC; LIHTC, HFA; HCR; HPD
- Experience with SitCompli and Yardi
- Ability work independently with minimal to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
