Job Summary
Own the day-to-day operations of a self-storage facility, including delivering an outstanding customer experience, driving unit rentals, and maintaining a safe, show-ready property. Serve as primary contact for customers, prospective renters, and the District Manager; manage leasing processes, payments, and access codes using SiteLink/storEDGE or similar systems; follow up on leads to maximize occupancy; handle disputes and collections as needed; perform facility walkthroughs, maintenance tasks, and ensure cleanliness and safety; maintain rental records, inventory, and regulatory compliance; collaborate with nearby stores and the District Manager to achieve regional goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing, sales, or service-oriented role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning property management or POS software
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
