Job Summary
Consistently deliver guest experience commitments, ensuring every team member understands and executes Target's standards while actively observing and providing feedback. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building assets including Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety, and Electrical systems, utilizing technology to prioritize and safely complete work orders. Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely completion, identify safety hazards, and teach store team members proper safety procedures and equipment operation. Lead the team by coaching on skill gaps, evaluating asset performance against brand standards, and assisting in executing special projects and remodels. Evaluate guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to drive results and align on priorities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ years of technical education preferred in some of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC or plumbing
- Experience working in any of the following areas: basic door repair, HVAC filter changing, carpentry, power equipment/mechanical repair and basic equipment troubleshooting
- Basic technical skills and general experience working with property assets
- Proficiency in operating power tools, HVAC, wet/dry vacuum and other powered equipment
- Strong skills in managing vendor relationships, ensuring accountability, and achieving quality service results
- Effective communication skills and the ability to use technology and multiple communication devices
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds without the assistance of others
- Flexible work schedule that aligns to all operating hours (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); regular and prompt attendance
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
Desired Qualifications
