Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Post Road Management responsible for carpentry, repairs, inspections, and emergency maintenance across residential properties. Performs drywall repairs, cabinet and countertop replacements, finish carpentry, glass/window repairs, lock/door servicing, tile repairs, electrical and plumbing tasks, appliance troubleshooting, flooring, painting, and HVAC (non-licensed). Supports turnover activities such as unit repaints and re-carpeting; conducts routine property and apartment inspections; participates in rotating after-hours emergency maintenance; carries out preventive maintenance to ensure safety of property systems. Maintains positive relationships with residents, vendors, contractors, and city officials, tracks and completes work orders, and communicates with the property manager. Requires own tools and reliable transportation. Required Qualifications
- Understanding of residential construction, home/apartment remodeling, and basic plumbing and electrical systems.
- Experience in carpentry, painting, drywall, and time management.
- Ability to provide accurate quotes and complete work on time and within budget.
- Tools & Transportation: Own personal tools and reliable transportation
- Qualities: Adaptable, dependable, detail-oriented, and an excellent problem solver.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, climb ladders, work overhead, and stand/walk for long periods.
