Property Maintenance Technician

Property Maintenance Technician responsible for daily upkeep of a hotel property, including monitoring, maintaining, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on property and equipment. Must live on property during the term of employment and be on-call for emergencies; also functions as Property Attendant 1-2 days per week as assigned. Responsibilities include grounds cleaning, siding and walkway upkeep, repairing vacant rooms (walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, cabinets), drywall and paint work, carpet shampooing, scheduled preventive maintenance on guest rooms, responding to service requests, safety and security notifications, reconciling daily paperwork, and performing tasks per the Property Attendant and on-site maintenance agreements. Requires ability to manage multiple activities in potentially stressful situations, strong communication, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Must have working knowledge of air conditioning systems, general safety procedures, electrical systems and components, and the use of appropriate tools and testing equipment; physical capability to perform duties in indoor/outdoor environments, on uneven surfaces, and lift heavy loads.
