Job Summary
Respond to all maintenance requests and calls within a reasonable timeframe, identifying deficiencies and recommending remedies. Conduct daily general inspections of assigned buildings, perform preventative maintenance, and execute necessary repairs when units are vacated. Submit material requests and consult daily with the Maintenance Supervisor on progress and impending issues. Provide escorts to contractors and assist with room set-ups, health & safety inspections, and furniture movement. Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation for emergency and weather-related situations, responding to campus within 30 minutes. Work mandatory overtime as needed while displaying quality workmanship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2-3 years of general maintenance experience in property management or related field
