Job Summary
Conduct daily general inspections of assigned buildings, report findings to the Maintenance Supervisor, and perform preventative maintenance assignments on time. Respond to all maintenance requests and calls within a reasonable timeframe, identifying deficiencies and recommending remedies. Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation for emergency and weather-related situations, with a requirement to respond to campus within 30 minutes. Submit requests for materials and supplies, provide escorts to contractors, and assist with room set-ups, health inspections, and furniture movement. Perform repairs when units are vacated and consult daily on progress and impending issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2-3 years of general maintenance experience in property management or related field
