Job Summary
Property Maintenance Crew member responsible for developing and implementing a property maintenance and repair program, performing general maintenance and repair tasks across buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds, including carpentry, glazing, electrical, plumbing, painting, and grounds work; assist with moving furniture, update site logs, respond to emergency calls, and maintain safe, clean work sites; requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-paced environment. Responsibilities span carpentry, glazing, electrical, plumbing, painting, grounds maintenance, and coordinating with supervisors on safety and paperwork for volunteers.
Required Qualifications
- General repair and maintenance of Buildings, Facilities, Equipment and Grounds
- carpentry (basic rough and finish)
- glazier (remove broken glass, replace windows and hardware)
- electrical (basic installation and repair)
- plumbing (basic repairs, leaks)
- painting (surface prep and coating)
- grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, weeding, fertilizing)
- move furniture/equipment
- update work logs
- respond to emergency calls
- safety and cleanliness of work sites
- excellent verbal and written communication
- excellent organizational and time management skills
- ability to work in high-paced environments
- supervise volunteers (when applicable)
