Job Summary
Full-time Property Maintenance Technician responsible for routine building repairs (windows, doors, or walls), plumbing repairs to address leaks, keeping properties safe, clean, and occupied, and preparing units for new residents after vacancies. Requires valid driver’s license, 2+ years in a similar role, ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, general carpentry and plumbing knowledge, experience with power and hand tools, attention to detail and time-management, and basic computer literacy; bilingual skills preferred and CSPNJ lived experience welcomed to inform empathetic resident support.
Required Qualifications
- MUST have a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- MUST provide two letters of recommendation from previous employers
- At least 2 years working in a similar role
- High School Diploma / GED
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy and professionalism
