Job Summary
Apprentice Property Maintenance supports the day-to-day maintenance and repair of National Star properties. You will work alongside experienced property maintenance staff to perform basic repairs (e.g., minor plumbing, basic carpentry, painting/patching), conduct routine preventative maintenance checks, assist with inspections and documentation, maintain tools and equipment, and provide customer/service support by communicating updates to residents or team members. This role emphasizes learning trade skills, following safety procedures, and contributing to site upkeep and repairs under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in property maintenance/trade work
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfortable using hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills and a respectful, professional attitude
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions (indoor/outdoor, occasional heights/ladder work)
- Valid driver’s license
