Job Summary
Prospect for potential tenants through online listings, referrals, and networking, then respond promptly to inquiries by providing property details and scheduling tours. Conduct thorough property viewings, highlight key features, and assist applicants with rental applications and documentation collection. Perform background, credit, and rental history screenings while collaborating with owners to negotiate lease terms and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Coordinate move-in processes, including inspections and lease signings, and maintain accurate records of all leasing activities. Stay updated on market trends and competitor pricing to support leasing campaigns. This role requires two years of leasing experience and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or real estate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and local rental laws
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property viewings
