Job Summary
Prospect for potential tenants through online listings, referrals, and networking, then respond promptly to inquiries by providing property details and scheduling tours. Conduct property viewings to highlight key features, assist applicants with documentation, and perform thorough screenings including background and credit checks. Collaborate with owners to negotiate lease terms, ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and coordinate move-in processes with inspections and lease signings. Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and stay updated on market trends while working with marketing teams on leasing campaigns. This role requires 2 years of leasing experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency in property management software.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or real estate is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective tenants
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
