Job Summary
Property Inspector & Maintenance Technician at Evernest responsible for performing thorough inspections and light maintenance on residential properties in the local market. Conducts inspections to identify maintenance concerns, hazards, and code violations; prepares detailed inspection reports; performs repairs and light maintenance; schedules and coordinates work orders; verifies work quality with third-party vendors; captures photos and documents property conditions; utilizes specialized tools; maintains professional on-site presence; may post eviction notices per protocol; and regularly engages with team in meetings while utilizing a smartphone, apps, and computer. Provides mileage reimbursement and a company phone; travel is field-based across the local market with a focus on property upkeep and ensuring properties meet standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation

- Diagnose/troubleshoot, estimate and complete repairs per property needs
- Organize and schedule work orders
- Audit and close out all credit card transactions
- Conduct a variety of repairs
- Attend/participate in weekly meetings
- Perform daily/weekly vehicle inspections
- Conduct and prepare thorough inspections of both occupied and unoccupied residential properties
- Capture detailed photos and provide detailed written documentation of property conditions
- Utilize special equipment and tools to test and evaluate various property components
- Verify the completion and quality of work performed by third-party vendors
- Identify safety hazards, property damage, and potential future maintenance issues
- Perform light maintenance including lock changes and small repairs
- Post eviction notices on properties in compliance with company protocols and legal requirements
- Create efficient commuting routes by prioritizing tasks based on importance and urgency
- Serve as the company’s representative in the field and meet with third-party individuals
- Other duties, as assigned
