Job Summary

Maintenance Engineer for a hotel property responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the physical property/grounds and for preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical/electrical systems and equipment. Performs electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating and cooling, structural, facilities, ground and parking area maintenance; responds to service requests; implements ongoing preventive maintenance; manages emergency procedures; maintains cleanliness and conducts inspections; maintains exterior grounds; snow removal and salting as needed; ensures indoor pool is clean and functional and fitness equipment is maintained.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment.
  • Must be able to recognize potential safety hazards and security problems in the hotel and act upon each accordingly.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
