Job Summary
Property Field Adjuster handling property and casualty claims: examine policies and records to determine coverage, interview claimants and witnesses, inspect property damage, estimate repair or replacement costs, prepare findings, negotiate settlements with claimants, and assist in litigation when needed. Maintain accurate records, review policy wording for coverage, and coordinate with clients to support profitability analyses and reserves. Requires ongoing education to stay current with industry changes; strong interpersonal, negotiation, and investigative skills; and ability to work independently or in a team. Telecommute from British Columbia, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in property and casualty claims
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Enrollment in CIP program or related certification preferred but not necessarily required
