Job Summary
Property Compliance Specialist responsible for leading compliance across gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, legionella, and lifts; driving remedial works after inspections, audits, and risk assessments; managing contractor compliance, certifications, performance, and relationships; maintaining auditable compliance records and trackers; supporting senior leadership reporting and governance; developing water management and asbestos management plans; collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and local services to resolve issues; deputising for the Repairs, Maintenance & Compliance Lead and shaping delivery of safe, compliant homes.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of building safety and compliance areas (gas, EICR, asbestos, legionella)
- Experience with contractors/landlords/service providers
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong data/reporting skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Attention to detail and risk assessment capabilities
