Job Summary
Manage new business and renewals by reviewing risk management surveys, identifying loss exposures, and advising clients on appropriate coverages. Conduct proactive analysis of underwriting data including Loss Ratios and Experience Modification Ratings while preparing proposals and negotiating terms with carriers. Collaborate with Risk Advisors to develop marketing plans, complete carrier submissions, and create client-facing documents such as Statements of Values. Oversee a High Performance Team by mentoring staff, leading client meetings, and delivering training sessions on compliance and certificates of insurance. Maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters while escalating potential E&O claims. Requires an active California Insurance License and 5+ years of P&C client management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Insurance License
- 5+ years of client management experience in P&C insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Industry designations (CIC, CPCU, ARM, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in PC applications and insurance management platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify coverage gaps and documentation errors
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated negotiating skills and advanced knowledge of commercial coverages
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to multi-task effectively
