Job Summary
Property & Casualty Producer in Commercial Lines focused on developing new client relationships while expanding and retaining existing accounts. Responsibilities include building and managing a pipeline, collecting underwriting information, quoting new and renewal accounts, overseeing client service with account teams (renewals, coverage reviews, financial evaluations, benchmarking, placement of business), designing sales strategies to grow market presence, expanding referral networks, qualifying opportunities per underwriting criteria, staying current on insurance markets and regulatory trends, enhancing sales skills through training, presenting plan designs and renewal strategies in a consultative manner, participating in ongoing sales meetings, and maintaining timely professional communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues. Requires full-time availability with travel for business development and client meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active state Property & Casualty Insurance license required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Property & Casualty sales, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and colleagues
- Professional presence with strong consultative and organizational skills
- Solid knowledge of insurance coverages, forms, and risk management principles
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related office software
