Job Summary

Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager responsible for managing an existing group of clients and networking to connect with new potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering suitable insurance products and policies. Responsibilities include networking with potential clients, assessing client needs, recommending policies, completing paperwork, staying current on insurance products and regulations, maintaining records of policies and prospects, addressing client inquiries, and providing excellent client service. Requires a Texas property & casualty license (preferred or within 90 days), proficiency with agency software (Applied Epic, PL Rater) and Excel, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a role focused on meeting agency service goals.

Required Qualifications

  • General Property & Casualty Insurance License—Texas preferred or willingness to obtain within first 90 days of employment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Agency Account Management Software (e.g., Applied Epic, PL Rater)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to sit for long periods and provide extensive client support via phone and email
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
